Your New Role:
You will be an integral member of the Gold Care Home Services team ensuring our staffing requirements are met in accordance with our care recipients needs. Being the initial point of contact in relation to service requests, you will build positive working relationships with our Gold Care Home Services team and external providers.
Your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Work effectively and build strong relationships with all members of the Gold Care Home Services team, including Support Workers, HR team and Business Manager. As well as build excellent relationships with our partnered organisations.
- In accordance with Management and our partnered organisations, ensure that service requests are filled in a timely and effective manner and that hours are distributed in such a way that it causes minimum disturbance to our clients
- Achieve results in a skilled, diverse and engaged manner that positively responds to change and deadlines
- Experience in using Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel).
- Experience in using Rostering systems (preferable)
- Support the Recruitment team in identifying staff vacancies.
- Be aware of and monitor changes to support worker availability
- Find alternative staff to cover absences promptly.
- Use your initiative, and the systems provided, to ensure that the shifts being offered to Support Workers are appropriate to the clients needs .
- Actively participate in development of innovative projects presented by the Director or Business Manager.
What do you need to succeed?
- Experience in the Aged Care or NDIS industry.
- Cert IV in Business Admin or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
- 1-2 years Experience in an Rostering or Business Administrator role
- Great communication skills
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to build positive and strong working relationships with mangers, team members, and partnered organisations alike
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Positive and can-do attitude with a willingness to learn!
