SIGINT | ELINT | FISINT | COMEXT | PROFORMA Training Specialist - Urgent Requirement
Vertical Scope Group (VSG) are continuing to grow our award-winning Consulting Services team and are securing high performing, high calibre, security cleared individuals to join us in a new long‐term project for a NatSec client, in delivering Training and Instructional capabilities.
We seek Expert, Trusted and Reputable, high calibre and high performing Professionals with high levels of knowledge and experience to be able to deliver training and instructional support within the Technical Signals Intelligence comprising of Electronic Intelligence (ELIT), Foreign Instrumentation Signals (FISINT), Communications External (COMEXT) and PROFORMA.
About you
* Advanced TechSIGINT expertise relevant to one or more of ELINT, FISINT, COMEXT and PROFORMA analysis disciplines.
* Recent and relevant operational experience to ensure training reflects real‐world analytical challenges.
* Proven instructional and course development capability, including experience delivering advanced technical training to adult learners.
* Ability to operate effectively within a sensitive, high‐security operational environment.
* Must hold a TSPV clearance.
* Must be Canberra based.
About the role
All Training Course Developer Instructors will be responsible for the following core activities:
* Design, develop, revise, and maintain advanced TechSIGINT training courses and modules aligned to current operational requirements.
* Develop curricula, lesson plans, instructional materials, exercises, simulations, and assessment artefacts to support analyst skill development.
* Deliver formal face‐to‐face training courses within secure facilities, ensuring high instructional standards and effective adult learning outcomes.
* Guide, assess, and mentor students during training delivery and practical activities.
* Collaborate closely with client's subject matter experts, instructors, and training managers to ensure training relevance and quality.
* Embed within operational analysis teams when not delivering formal training to.
* Rapidly adapt and update training content to reflect changes in tools, systems, technologies, and tradecraft.
* Capture and incorporate student and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness.
* Produce training materials and artefacts suitable for reuse to support longer‐term internal capability development.
