Let’s lead the way together.Job DescriptionAbout this opportunityThe Demand Planning Manager is responsible for managing and optimising the demand planning process within PACT Group, post-IBP (Integrated Business Planning) implementation. This role involves developing accurate demand forecasts, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring the efficient alignment of supply chain activities to meet business objectives.Your key responsibilities will be:Demand Forecasting: Develop and manage demand forecasts using advanced statistical models and market analysis to ensure accurate predictions of customer demand.Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to align demand plans with business goals and objectives.Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyse demand trends, identifying potential risks and opportunities to adjust forecasts and plans accordingly.IBP Implementation: Implement and maintain demand planning tools and systems as part of the IBP process, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.Team Leadership: Lead the demand planning team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.Communication: Communicate demand plans and insights to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organisation.Process Improvement: Continuously improve demand planning processes and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and statistical skills for accurate demand forecasting.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle).Strong organisational and project management skills.Strategic Thinking: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and drive continuous improvement.Demonstrated Leadership capability and management skills:Influence: Ability to influence and drive change across the organisation.Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a similar role.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in demand planning software and tools (ie. SAP/IBP).
