Your Dynamic Role: Cook Allrounder
As a Casual Cook Allrounder at Wildlife Habitat, you will primarily be responsible for food preparation and cooking, ensuring our high standards are consistently met. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role where your ability to jump into other duties will be key to creating exceptional guest experiences within our iconic Curlew Cafe
Key Responsibilities
* Cooking & Preparation: Take charge of the kitchen by preparing and cooking delicious meals, including executing cold larder duties and working with a variety of dishes.
* Inventory & Safety Management: Manage inventory and ingredient deliveries, ensuring strict adherence to food safety procedures, including temperature checks and stock rotation.
* Hygiene & Pack Down: Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, following all workplace health and safety regulations. This includes the full cleaning and pack down of the kitchen, inclusive of dishes duty when required.
* Hospitality All-Rounder: Flex your skills by assisting the front-of-house team with F&B service, making and serving coffees as a barista, and providing general support to ensure a smooth guest journey.

Skills & Experience:
* Kitchen Skills: Proven experience in a commercial kitchen environment is essential.
* Hospitality Passion: A strong dedication to excellent customer service and creating positive guest interactions.
* Willingness to Work with Wildlife: You must be comfortable and enjoy working in our unique environment.
* Adaptable: The ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
* Communicative: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proactive: Energetic, solution-oriented, and takes initiative with tasks.
Position Details:
* Employment Type: Part Time or Casual – Around 20 to 25 hours per week

* Remuneration: Amusement, Events and Recreation Award Grade 3
