As our Mental Health Clinician, you will provide contemporary, evidence based psychological support services to clients accessing the service.

This role reports to the Clinical and Site Lead and is a part-time time permanent contract at a new centre.

If you are a Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker, Mental Health Accredited Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse and you are passionate about improving the lives of people in the Kempsey community, we want to meet you!

What you will be doing day to day:

- Conduct clinical assessments, case formulations, and treatment planning for people with complex mental health needs
- Deliver individualised, evidence-based psychological interventions
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders
- Maintain high-quality clinical records and adhere to professional standards

About you:

- Approved tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or mental health nursing and registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA or AASW
- Experience in assessment, formulation, and delivery of psychological treatments
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans
- Strong knowledge of the mental health system, local support services, and relevant legislation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

- Current open Driver Licence
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to hold one
- Current Police Check or ability to obtain one.
