About the Job
Our organization seeks a detail-oriented individual to manage medical records in our Health Information Service team.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately locate and record medical records for efficient retrieval.
* Develop and oversee the filing schedule, coordinating tasks and prioritizing work.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive health information in accordance with patient privacy regulations and internal data governance standards.
* Upload and enter missing documentation into our information system.
* Assign and manage tasks for the filing team, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and accuracy in document management.
* Collaborate with external storage providers to oversee medical record requests and transfers through multiple systems.
Essential Skills
* Effective use of relevant technologies, including Microsoft Office components (Word, Excel, Outlook) and health management systems.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and commitment to upholding patient privacy.
