Spectra Recruitment is on the hunt for legendary Sheetmetal Workers / Boilermakers who know their way around TIG welding, installs, and shutdowns. Work across QLD and NSW on some of the juiciest projects in the game — think meat works, conveyors, and shiny new installs. The Deal: $70/hr flat rate (for shutdown and project work) $40 - $45 plus penalties (perm position) Scheduled shutdowns fast-paced breakdown work Sites across Queensland & New South Wales Stainless steel TIG welding & polishing — real high-spec stuff Conveyor and equipment installs — get bonus points if you’ve done it before ⏰ 12 hour days on shutdowns, approximately 2 week shuts at a time What You’ll Need: ✅ Trade qualified Sheetmetal Worker, Boilermaker or Fitter ✅ Strong TIG welding & polishing skills (stainless steel is your thing) ✅ Comfortable jumping into shutdowns and breakdown work ✅ Q Fever vaccination – or willing to obtain (we’re working in meat works, after all) ✅ Willing to travel across QLD & NSW ✅ Sense of humour welcome – tools and skills essential Why Spectra?
