**How will I help?**
As a Team Leader Group Operations (GO) consists of four lines of businesses with approximately 5,300 people across five countries. Each Business delivers services for our customers and our people and manages significant spend across Westpac Group. Mortgage Operations is a key part of the Group Operations team and is responsible for bringing our Group vision to life by building a team of the best home loan experts focused on transforming moments that matter for our customers, business partners and each other.

**What do I need?**
- Proven experience as a Team Leader
- Settlements experience desired
- Exposure to leadership role highly desired
- Ability to communicate feedback in an effective manner to improve team member's performance and create a positive team culture
- A passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing team members by setting clear goals and KPI's
- The desire to continuously improve performance and efficiency by understanding business metrics to manage operations and drive improvements including knowledge of Active Operations Management, resource planning and load balancing concepts and operational excellence practices.
- Experience in managing customer complaints and escalations
- High level of Risk and Compliance awareness/experience
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour, with a customer-centric approach to business
