About the Role
This role is part of the Oil and Gas Division, which works on a wide variety of onshore and offshore resources issues. The Gas Branch advises Government on gas supply policy, while the Offshore Strategy Branch provides policy and advice to support the safe and responsible regulation of Australia's offshore oil and gas resources.
What You Will Do
As a Senior Policy/Program Officer (APS Level 6), you will:
* Contribute to the delivery of key government priorities and play a key role in shaping future decisions about the energy transition.
* Develop and sharpen your policy skills undertaking high-profile work, including networking across States and Territories, engaging in policy processes, researching and analyzing data, and working directly on Cabinet processes and legislative development.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline security clearance.
This is an APS Level 6 role, requiring a high degree of autonomy and independence, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
