We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Human Resources Officer
to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the HR function and ensuring smooth operations across recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. This role is also essential in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation.
This position is also responsible for providing accurate, timely, responsive and cost-effective payroll services to Council. The position interprets employee conditions including Enterprise Agreement, relevant award, legislation and contracts to ensure ongoing compliance and the highest confidentiality, whilst effectively communicating with staff and providing effective customer service.

This is a permanent full-time position with a starting salary of
$82,018.64
per annum. The role includes generous leave entitlements, offering 6 weeks of annual leave, 17.5% leave loading and 3 weeks of personal leave (pro-rata).
