About the role
We are looking for a motivated Insurance Broker to manage a dedicated SME portfolio while collaborating with Senior Brokers on diverse and complex accounts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in insurance broking and risk management, while contributing to the success of our clients and the broader team.
As part of your responsibilities, you will work closely with Senior Brokers, providing essential support across various accounts. This collaboration will allow you to gain exposure to complex insurance solutions and further enhance your technical knowledge and industry insights.
In this role, you will be a key point of contact for your clients, designing tailored risk solutions and negotiating effectively within the market. Open to both junior and experienced brokers ready to take the next step in their career.
A Day in the Life
* Manage and develop relationships with SME clients
* Ownership of a SME client portfolio (renewals & new business)
* Assess risk and design tailored insurance solutions
* Negotiate with insurers to achieve optimal outcomes
* Build strong partnerships with underwriters
* Manage portfolio budgets, business plans, and debtors
* Support new business growth through pipeline development
Skills and experience
* Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification
* Strong account management with attention to detail
* Clear, professional, and confident with stakeholders
* Practical & service-first approach to getting deals done
* Proactive, helpful, and driven to hit team goals
* Previous experience in a similar insurance or broking role is highly regarded
