Who are we looking for?

We're seeking an insightful and talented Performance Manager with strong analytical skills, to develop, execute, and optimise paid search and social campaigns for our tier one financial services client. This Performance Manager will drive traffic, sales, profit, and customer acquisition through cutting-edge performance tactics. You will have a strong grasp of performance campaigns and experience gaining the trust of clients with your precision, agility, and ability to provide added levels of insights. You'll partner with a full-service media client in the finance and wealth management sector, who value quality recommendations, and are open to new ideas, whilst joining a supportive client team and broader agency, who are about results and accountability.

This Performance Manager will help drive the optimisation and reporting of Brand and Performance campaigns; gleaning insights that help clients make important and informed business decisions. What will your day to day look like?

* Campaign planning & implementation
* Dashboard reporting and optimising performance marketing campaigns across the channel mix including SEM and paid social, and some programmatic
* Providing added levels of insights that may be relevant to campaign and client business objectives
* Overseeing the full performance budget, including forecasting, pacing, invoicing, and reconciliation to ensure smooth and efficient campaign execution
* Mentoring, training and enhancing your direct report's professional capabilities
* Providing answers to ad hoc analysis on your campaigns, which can then be used to craft insightful recommendations, uncover trends, and generate actionable insights
* Reviewing media plans, ensuring line items are loaded correctly with the right fees

What will set you up for success?

* Minimum 4 years' experience in a digital/performance role within a media agency or consultant environment
* Relevant professional performance experience across paid search and/or paid social, and/or programmatic trading and implementation - we are open to those who have experience that is currently skewed to one of those channels, but who are hungry to learn, resilient, have a great attitude, and are keen to make an impact
* Strong technical proficiency across Microsoft Office, Google Ads (Google Ads editor), Meta Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, SA360, and CM360. Bonus points if you have knowledge of DV360 or TTD for display campaigns (with Google certification)
* Excellent ability to analyse media performance data, and think and act strategically
* Solid written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to organise and manage detailed campaign performance
* Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships
* Good understanding of traditional and digital media planning elements
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Ability to understand and analyse data, and provide stakeholders with reports that are easy to understand and actionable
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep a cool head
* A team player, who is willing to go the extra mile for the clients
* Solid knowledge of a good mix of digital vendors and their offerings
* Ability to manage a broad scope of tasks and manage time and workload to deliver on deadlines
* Strong initiative and drive – seeking out new projects, opportunities, and tasks whenever possible
