Job Title: Youth Development Specialist
About the Role:
The position of Youth Development Specialist is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with young people who are at risk. The successful candidate will be based at a school and will work with a caseload of young people, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
* Case manage young people by providing a range of services including assessments, career guidance, and development of engagement plans.
* Develop and deliver programs and activities that promote positive development and motivation.
* Monitor and support engagement plans through regular communication and follow-up.
* Provide ongoing assistance to young people on a one-to-one basis and in groups.
* Adhere to contractual guidelines including maintaining case notes and participant files.
* Ensure administration requirements are accurate and up to date.
* Provide reports to management and stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
* Hold a Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent qualification.
* Have a current Working with Children Check.
* Hold a current driver's licence and own vehicle.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
