CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction to lead the delivery of complex federal and infrastructure projects in Darwin. This is a senior, site-based leadership role with no FIFO requirement.
Responsibilities
Act as Project Manager reporting directly to the Project ExecutiveLead end-to-end project delivery from start-up, design and engineering through to construction, commissioning, closeout, and warrantyMaintain strong client relationships while protecting commercial and contractual interestsProvide oversight of:Design activities (Designer of Record)Construction operations (Superintendent)Safety systems and compliance (Safety Manager)Quality assurance and control (QC Manager)Project scheduling (Scheduler)Project financials including AR/AP (Project Comptroller)Negotiate and execute subcontractor and supplier contracts and purchase ordersChair regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure all contractual, administrative, safety, and compliance requirements are metIdentify and secure resources required for successful project delivery
Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management10+ years’ total construction experience, including 5+ years as a Project Manager delivering $20M+ heavy civil infrastructure projectsProven experience managing large, multidisciplinary project teamsStrong commercial acumen across contracts, procurement, claims, and financial controlsExperience working in federal, defence, or similarly governed environments highly regardedExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong proficiency in MS Office, with Primavera P6 experience preferredAbility to successfully pass background and security checks
