As a Full-time Chef, you'll be an integral part of our kitchen operations.This role is ideal for someone with creative flair, strong culinary knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. You will contribute to daily kitchen performance, innovation in our menu, and excellence in every dish served.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a range of high quality dishes, ensuring consisitency and attention to presentation.
* Lead kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, plating and timely service.
* Innovate new menu items while maintaining our culinary identity.
* Oversee compliance with food safety, hygiene and cleanliness regulations.
* Monitor inventory levels, place orders, recieve deliveries, and manage food storage.
* Estimate food consumption and manage supplies efficiently.
* Train, mentor and supervise junior kitchen staff to uphold quality and standards.
* Collaborate with Front-of-house for seamless guest service.
* Be available for shifts on weekends, public holidays and peak times.
Skills & Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or Diploma in hospitality (preferred or willingness to obtain)
* 2-3 years of proffessional experience in a similar Chef role.
* Strong culinary knowledge and experience with kitchen equipment.
* Excellent time management and teamwork.
* Passion for food and a proactive, positive attitude.
* Flexibilty to work across a range of shifts.
