Role Overview
VicFleet is a business unit within the Government Procurement branch, providing services to mandated departments and agencies. These services include vehicle purchasing, finance leasing, insurance, registration, and disposal.
Key Responsibilities
This position supports and leads the disposal operational delivery, including decommissioning, rectifications, setting reserve prices, and reporting. The goal is to ensure optimal asset returns through accountable and transparent processes.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in fleet operational management and disposal, including knowledge of vehicles and the vehicle market.
* Ability to analyze data and information, produce high-quality written reports and presentations.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including building and maintaining effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational risks and think critically.
Deliverables
The successful candidate will lead daily disposals operations, deliver on financial commitments, act as the client's representative, measure weekly performance, create detailed reporting, and provide support and advice to management.
