The opportunity As a Branch Technical Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the administration of various tax revenue lines, independently completing complex customer files, and providing specialist advice. You will also contribute to operational projects, process improvements, and the mentoring and development of team members, supporting the delivery of high quality customer service and organisational objectives. The BTO is also responsible for independently investigating complex or technical customer files, providing specialist advice, and assisting in the development and implementation of operational service delivery plans to meet service and performance goals. Key responsibilities Resolve complex and tax technical matters, including escalations. Provide specialist advice and support to team members. Lead or participate in technical forums and operational projects. Mentor and develop less experienced staff. Analyse data and trends to identify and implement process improvements. Who we are looking for To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience managing complex customer enquiries, ideally in a taxation or related field. Strong communication and leadership skills. Proven analytical and problem solving ability. Demonstrated commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.
