Pathways Officer, Housing and Public Works - Logan - Beaudesert, Australia

As a Pathways Officer within Housing Outreach Mobile Engagement (H.O.M.E), you'll play a vital role in addressing homelessness and housing challenges in the South/West Region. This position offers flexibility in office location, you can choose to be based in either Logan or the Gold Coast. This is an opportunity to deliver coordinated, timely, and meaningful support for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
In this role, you'll assess and respond to customer needs, providing immediate housing assistance, long-term housing solutions, and connections to essential services. By understanding the unique challenges our customers face, you'll ensure they can access the right support to achieve safety, stability, and independence.
You'll work closely with a network of government and non-government service providers, councils, and community housing organisations to strengthen local partnerships and improve service delivery. Through collaboration and innovation, you'll contribute to building pathways to secure housing and deliver outcomes that align with the department's commitment to improving lives and fostering sustainable communities.
