About the role:
Bullseye Agriculture is further developing its operations in Southern NSW and is looking for an Overseer to be based in either Goulburn, the Southern Highlands or its surroundings.
This exciting role is for an individual looking to grow and develop their career in the agricultural industry with a great company and great clients.
Looking after a cornerstone client on set days of the working week, our ideal candidate will have strong on-farm experience and pride themselves on effective communication.
The role requires an individual with experience in the day-to-day operations involved in sheep and cattle operations with a focus on grazing management. Experience in crop and pasture establishment is highly regarded and autonomous animal husbandry skills and low stress stock handling knowledge are a must.
We are looking for a self-starter with a team mentality, who is personable, and has a strong safety culture. With support from the current Southern Manager, the role includes:
* On-farm day-to-day operations
* Contractor engagement and management
* Feed management and forward planning
* Asset improvements and maintenance
* Running husbandry programs and delivering the highest standards of animal health and welfare
* Maintain accurate stock, chemical and feeding records
* Operate and maintain a range of plant and equipment
Things to note:
Although you are based away from Orange you are part of a larger team. Support will be provided from administration and agricultural analysis (budgets etc.). You may travel to Orange for Quarterly updates and any other team gatherings that are organised. You will also receive support from Southern NSW management as well as online and over-the-phone support from Orange. Strong serviceability of current clients will encourage additional client interest within the region.

About you:

* You have extensive hands-on experience and an open mind to manage a variety of properties, each with unique operational objectives
* You possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
* You have strong people skills, prioritising the relationship between yourself, the farm manager, and our clients
* You have attention to detail and ensure that our clients' assets are looked after

This role is currently part-time with a minimum three days a week but will evolve into a full-time position for the right candidate as our footprint in the region grows.
