WORK SITE: Underground – Bullant mine site
ROSTER: 8/6 (FIFO ex Perth or Residential)

KEY DUTIES AND TASKS
o Produce practical mine designs for longer term projects (including infrastructure and development required).
o Coordination of business case process, including data collation, report preparation and approvals.
o Completion of quarterly forecast reviews, including direction of mining sequences and equipment allocation.
o Maintain and communicate 3 month rolling update of mine plan.
o Collation and review of monthly plans in alignment with end of month reporting deadlines.
o Assist with the preparation of budget plans.
o Review and maintain cost models, updating with actual costs.
o Preparation of mining proposals.
o Mine optimisation & identifying business improvement opportunities, including future operations and processes.
o Provide project works support to the Underground Managers such as but not limited to ventilation regulation wall constructions, mono pump selection and placement, major infrastructure upgrades i.e. service bays and explosive magazines.
o Provide analytical support as directed by the Underground Managers.
o Identify and set production priorities.
o Involvement in safety activities (safety and toolbox meetings, S.A.O.’s, hazard reporting, Emergency Response training).
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
o A mining engineer with five years practical underground experience
o A person with minimum two years’ experience as a ventilation technician and attendance to a relevant ventilation course or
o A person with experience considered adequate for the position by the Registered Manager and attendance at a relevant ventilation course
o Advanced skills and proven experience with Deswik UGDB, IS and SCHED
