About The Role
The HSEQ Officer plays a key role in ensuring the organisation maintains compliance with ISO standards, strengthens risk management, and continually improves operational processes. You will work closely with production teams, management, and external auditors to uphold our high standards across Quality, Safety, and Environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits, inspections, and compliance monitoring across all business units
Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS)
Manage incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
Support the development and review of policies, procedures, and system documents
Maintain risk, legal, NC, and aspects/impacts registers
Prepare HSEQ performance reports and support management review processes
Assist with external surveillance and recertification audit preparation
Promote staff awareness and training relating to ISO requirements and HSEQ systems
Monitor sustainability metrics and resource usage
Act as the IMS champion, working collaboratively across multiple departments
Skills and Experiences:
Skills & Experience
Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements
Experience in HSEQ, compliance, auditing, or quality systems within manufacturing or construction
Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and ability to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSEQ management software

Consistent and effective auditing of IMS processes
Accurate and up-to-date risk registers, legal registers, and NC records
Smooth preparation and positive outcomes for internal and external ISO audits
Increased staff awareness and engagement with the IMS
Clear reporting that supports informed decision-making at management level
Demonstrated contribution to operational improvement and organisational compliance
