About The Role
WorkPac is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a small team based in Brisbane. In this role youll take ownership of key accounting functions including processing journal entries, managing fixed asset disposals and capitalisations, and delivering accurate balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Processing journal entries, fixed asset disposals, capitalisations
* Balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and financial reporting
* Liaising with internal and external auditors and their associated requests
Skills And Experience Required
* SAP ECC experience processing journal entries, fixed asset disposals, capitalisations
* Blackline balance sheet reconciliation software experience
* Preferably mining specific experience including coal inventory, M&S inventory, asset rehabilitation obligations
* Understanding of unincorporated joint venture arrangements and reporting
* Foreign currency experience with journal entries and financial reporting -transact and report in both AUD and USD
* Experience liaising with internal and external auditors and their associated requests
