- Contractor & Vendor Management: Oversee all scheduled and reactive works performed by contractors. Manage service agreements, review performance to ensure quality and accountability, and build a network of reliable and high-quality vendors.
- Safety & Compliance: Act as the key contact for all facility-related safety and compliance matters. Proactively manage building compliance, statutory inspections, and ensure all centres are ready for Assessment & Rating. Champion a culture of safety across the organisation.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage operational budgets for all reactive maintenance, minor works, and lifecycle replacement projects. Prepare business cases and submissions for capital improvements, ensuring transparent justification and transparent financial reporting.
- Capital Works: Manage minor capital works projects from end to end, including scoping, planning, sourcing quotes, managing approvals, scheduling, and monitoring projects through to successful completion.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Centre Directors, internal support office teams, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- On-Call Support: Participate in a rotating on-call roster to provide support for any urgent, after-hours facility issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimise disruption to centre operations.

- Experience within early childhood education, aged care, or a similar multi-site service-based environment is highly preferred.
- A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related trade qualification would be highly regarded.

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
