The Tasmanian University Student Association (TUSA) is seeking a new Board of Management Chair to help guide the organisation through its next strategic phase in 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of Australia’s oldest student associations and support the voices of more than 30,000 University of Tasmania students.
About the Role
The Chair provides leadership to the TUSA Board, ensuring strong governance, effective strategy, and meaningful impact for students and the wider Tasmanian community. The role requires:
- Proven leadership and governance experience
- Robust stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A commitment to diversity and student-centred outcomes
- Alignment with TUSA’s values: Student-Led, Connected, Bold, Effective, and Kind
- Term: 3 years
- Honorarium: $8,000 annually
- Location: Statewide (applicants from Hobart encouraged)
