Randstad is pleased to be exclusively partnering with our client, a high-profile ASX-listed business and household name based in Brisbane. They are seeking a dedicated Payroll Services Officer with New Zealand payroll expertise to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.

About the role
Reporting into the Payroll Service Delivery Lead, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services specifically for the New Zealand workforce. This role is based in Brisbane and focuses on maintaining service excellence across the team member lifecycle.
Your duties will include:
* Execute day-to-day NZ payroll activities, including overpayments, termination calculations, reconciliations, and reporting
* Process off-cycle and ad hoc payments while ensuring strict data integrity
* Stay current with New Zealand legislative changes and policy updates to ensure all practices meet legal standards
About you
You are a service-focused payroll professional with specific experience in the New Zealand regulatory environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving. In addition, you have:
* Over 2 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, preferably within high-volume environments
* Demonstrated expertise in New Zealand employment legislation
* Experience using a large payroll system (eg. SAP, iChris, Aurion, etc.)
* Proven ability to interpret and apply complex Collective and Employment Agreements
* Strong communication skills with the ability to manage NZ-based stakeholder relationships from a Brisbane hub
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously while contributing to a high-performing team
* Full and unlimited Australian working rights
