The Sales Manager, Data Center is responsible for developing and expanding the company's data center business in Australia. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing key enterprise accounts, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales planning and strong customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development and Sales Growth

* Develop and implement sales strategies for the data center business in Australia, ensuring sales targets and market share growth are achieved.
* Conduct in-depth research on the data center market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the respective country and surrounding Southeast Asian countries, identify new business opportunities, and create corresponding market entry and expansion plans.
* Actively participate in industry exhibitions, seminars, and other events to enhance the company's brand visibility in Southeast Asia's data center field and build a broad business network.

Customer Relationship Management

* Establish and maintain long-term, strong relationships with key customers in the data center sector, including operators, owners, and engineering contractors in the respective country and Southeast Asia, understanding their needs and providing professional solutions.
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries and needs, coordinate internal company resources, and ensure that customer issues are effectively resolved, improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Regularly visit customers, gather feedback, and provide data for product improvement and service optimization.

Sales Project Execution

* Lead the full project management process for sales, including customer needs analysis, solution design, quotation, contract negotiation and signing, order execution tracking, and project delivery/acceptance, ensuring that projects progress smoothly and are completed on time.
* Collaborate closely with internal technical teams, procurement department etc., to ensure timely supply and delivery of products and services required for projects.
* Manage project risks, promptly identify and address potential problems or risks in the project execution process, ensuring project profitability and company benefits.

Market Information Collection and Feedback

* Continuously collect market information on the data center industry in Australia and Southeast Asia, including policy and regulatory changes, technological trends, and competitor dynamics, and report to the company headquarters in a timely manner.
* Based on market data and customer feedback, provide valuable advice and decision-making support for product development, market strategy adjustments, and business expansion.

Team Leadership and Management

* Provide professional training and career development guidance to enhance the team's comprehensive capabilities in market analysis, customer negotiation, project management, etc
* Foster a collaborative and performance-driven sales culture aligned with company values and regional strategy.

Requirements:

Experience Requirements

* At least 6 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in the data center-related products or services sector; experience in sales of backup diesel generator sets is preferred.
* Familiar with the market in Australia and/or Southeast Asia, with experience in successfully conducting business in these regions, and a deep understanding of local business environments and cultural practices.

Skill Requirements

* Excellent sales and negotiation skills, capable of effectively communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to achieve sales goals.
* Strong market analysis and development skills, able to quickly capture market opportunities and develop effective market strategies.
* Strong project management skills, capable of coordinating resources to ensure smooth execution of sales projects.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to maintain good relationships with internal teams and external customers.
* Proficient in office software and sales management tools, with certain data analysis abilities.

Knowledge Requirements

* In-depth understanding of the construction, operation, and maintenance needs of data centers, familiar with the application scenarios and technical requirements of backup diesel generator sets in data centers.
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as data center industry standards, environmental protection regulations, safety standards, etc.
* Understanding of backup diesel generator products, including different brands and models, and their features and performance parameters.

Language and Cultural Requirements

* Fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills, capable of communicating effectively with international customers and team members.
* Cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills, able to adapt to work environments with different cultural backgrounds.

Other Requirements

* Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, able to work independently under pressure and achieve good performance.
* Good professional ethics and business reputation, capable of maintaining the company's interests and brand image.
* Willingness to travel frequently and conduct business flexibly in Southeast Asia.
* Experience in selling backup diesel generator sets for data centers from brands such as Cummins, MTU, Caterpillar, Kohler, and Yuchai is preferred.
