We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance & Business Performance Division.

Remuneration & Hours:

* 35 hour working week

* Base salary up to $119,890 plus Superannuation (Any offer made will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate)


The Opportunity

As the Finance Business Partner you will work in conjunction with the Manager of Finance Business Partners to deliver strong commercial insight and understanding toward achieving strategic and operational business outcomes and improvements.

What you'll do:

* Support Finance Managers in preparing and presenting high‑quality, timely financial reports.
* Provide financial advice and partnering support to Business Managers in consultation with the Manager of Finance Business Partners, including preparing detailed forecasts and budgets where trends are analysed, business drivers understood, and proactive recommendations made.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and operational teams. Assist stakeholders interpret financial information, performance metrics, and key drivers of results.
* Provision of ad-hoc support and analysis on financial issues and projects as required, ensuring information is provided to support key business decisions.
* Assist Finance Managers to drive continuous process improvement. Identify efficiencies, streamline workflows, standardise approaches, and embed improved practices to enhance accuracy.


What you'll need to be successful:

Essential Criteria:

* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or an equivalent related discipline
* Experience in a management accounting/business partnering role including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting and variance
analysis
* Organised individual with a structured approach in daily duties to manage own workflow and priorities to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously with support of Manager and within your flexible working arrangement (if applicable)
* Ability to effectively communicate accounting concepts to non-finance staff
* Team player and ability to establish strong relationships within the finance team and wider business
* Sound understanding of commercial business practices and principles including a proven ability to influence commercial outcomes
* Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven workplace and to effectively manage challenges and changing priorities whilst still meeting team and corporate deadlines
* Proven high level of conceptual and analytical skills including a high level of proficiency with MS Excel and computer based financial systems.

Desirable Criteria:

* Have commenced studies for (or obtained) CPA or CA designation
