About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to join the dynamic team at Pro-Active Health in Bendigo, Victoria. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing exercise programs to help our clients achieve their health and fitness goals. This is a contract position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, functional, and clinical status
* Develop personalised exercise programs to address clients' specific needs and goals
* Provide one-on-one and group exercise sessions, guiding clients through safe and effective exercises
* Monitor and adjust exercise programs as needed to ensure optimal progress
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for clients
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress
* Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
What we're looking for
* Masters degree in Exercise Physiology
* Current registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
* Current CPR, First Aid, Police Check & Working with Children's Check
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to tailor exercise programs
* Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care
* Flexible and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of our clients
