Now, we’re embarking on an exciting new journey with HyeCare — redefining aged care by merging home care, retirement living, and high-quality aged care into a seamless, flexible, and empowering experience for seniors.
Located in the new Heart of Willoughby residential development, HyeCare will operate within the luxurious Hyegrove Willoughby community, offering 47 high-care suites and 111 assisted living apartments. We’re breaking the traditional mould of aged care, and we need the right Accounting all-rounder to support our teams, take full responsibility for finance operations and help shape our vision from the ground up.
The Role
We’re seeking a full-time Accounts Manager to join our Operations Team in this critical pre-launch phase, helping to establish accounting systems and processes. You’ll collaborate with our Leadership Team to get accounting operations up and running, and liaise with Hyecorp Finance Team to contribute to periodic and annual reporting requirements. This is a stand-alone role encompassing Accounts Payable & Receivable, Reconciliations, Reporting & Analysis, Payroll, Budgeting, Audits and Compliance. You must be a self-starter, reliable and experienced enough to confidently liaise with multiple internal departments and managers, external consultants, suppliers and creditors.
What You’ll Bring
Accounting and Finance Expertise – Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or related. CPA / CA is preferred.
Aged Care Experience – Minimum 5 years in an Accounts department within the aged care sector.
Legislative Knowledge – Understanding of finance standards and regulations.
Analytical Thinking – Experience in analysis and reporting, statutory compliance, and process engineering.
Technical Expertise – Experience using Lee Care or other Aged Care Clinical and Financial Management software.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement systems and processes for payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and procurement.
* Prepare budgets, reconciliations, tax, reports and forecasts.
* Manage compliance, audits, internal and external stakeholders and customers.
* Maintain accurate and compliant financial records, policies and practices.
