About the role
We are seeking a qualified Glazier to join our team at Thermawood QLD in Brisbane, this full-time position will see you playing a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of our unique retrofitting double glazing system into existing timber and aluminium windows, including manufacturing and installing new windows. The right person will be trained in all aspects of the business with the view of advancement to Supervisory role within a short period.
What you'll be doing
* Measure, fit, and install a variety of double-glazing products, including sash windows, doors, direct glazed and acoustic/draught sealing
* Perform maintenance and repair work on existing timber and aluminium windows. Provide exceptional customer service by advising clients on the best products and solutions for their needs
* Collaborate with the broader team to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
* Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
* Qualification in glazing or a related building trade
* Minimum 1 years' experience as a Glazier, with a proven track record of high-quality work
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise measurements
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide expert advice
* A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* A reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic
