Sunshine Coast Developmental Physiotherapy is seeking an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist OR a New Grad / Early Grad Physiotherapist with a commitment to build skills in Paediatrics and Rehabilitation.
You will be joining a team of highly experienced Senior Physiotherapists who specialise in Paediatrics, Rehabilitation and Disability, working within a specialist multi-disciplinary service. Co-located with a wider team of Senior Orthotists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants, you will have the opportunity for collaboration and development of interdisciplinary skills.
We pride ourselves on our local reputation and the quality of our evidence based physiotherapy services delivered to children and families. As a passionate team of physiotherapists – we are looking for a new team member who is excited and committed to this ethos.
Our service predominately supports paediatric clients (birth – 18 years) with goal directed, evidence based approaches within functional contexts. We specialise in providing a rehabilitation based, musculoskeletal and neurodevelopmental approach, with expert knowledge of medical and disability related interventions. We work across clinical and community settings, providing an individualised & context specific approach to therapy, as well as collaborating with relevant health sectors, community groups and organisations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Provision of physiotherapy services within a large clinic space, hydrotherapy, off site (such as the beach, daycare, local park etc), home visits and schools.
●Therapy services across a diverse paediatric caseload requiring dynamic treatment options. Our team aims to reflectively expand and provide evidence based services (within scope of practice) to meet the needs of our local community.
● Opportunity to partner with other local services and engage in sport and recreation activities, including our functional & participation based group interventions (or "clubs" as we call them here).
●Ability to work clinically in a meaningful way to support child and family goals.
●Engagement in regular professional supervision (availability for high level of direct supervision and support) as well as ongoing professional development on a formal and day to day basis.
●Contribution to regular clinical team meetings, as well as non-clinical meetings.

●Contemporary technology knowledge for service delivery, resource development and client specific resources (such as home exercise programs etc.)
●Experience in health care systems, liaising with children & their families, referrers and compensable bodies and other health/medical professionals.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
● Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
● Ability to provide personal liability insurance certificate
● Complete NDIS Worker Screening Check / Blue Card
● Current driver's license & willingness to travel short-medium distances on the Sunshine Coast
