D&T Hydraulics and Engineering Pty Ltd are a local family-owned cylinder repair & manufacturing business. This dedicated workforce is supported by technical, sales and support staff guaranteeing projects and the workforce is managed in a professional manner without compromising, quality, safety or the environment. We require motivated & experienced Toolmakers to join the team in our expanding facility in Mackay, Queensland.
We are highly reputable and boast a modern workshop with excellent working environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Applicant must have at least 1-Year of relevant employment experience;
* Applicant will ideally hold relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications
* Have experience with or on manual lathes;
* Experience on horizontal borers;
* Cylindrical grinding experience;
* Experience with general Mig welding a distinct advantage;
* Have an ability to read and interpret drawings - studying drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of articles to be manufactured and models to be constructed
* Able to use measuring equipment - measuring and marking out metal stock and castings using various gauges
* Testing and modifying manufactured articles
* Be highly motivated;
* Have a good work ethic:
* Be reliable, punctual and hardworking;
* Be able to work unsupervised and also follow directions provided by Supervisors;
* Have a strong attention to detail;
* Be able to work in a team environment;
* Have drivers licence and own transport;
* Be a team player; and
* Be committed to safety & quality policies and procedures.
Job Benefits:

* Salary between $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation
