Our client, a growing 3-Partner CA firm with 10 staff, is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join their expanding team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to learn, develop technical skills, and build a long-term career in a supportive, high-quality accounting environment.
The Role
You will gain hands-on experience across a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, tradies, nursing homes, and complex tax structures. Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation of company, trust, and part-year individual tax returns
* Bookkeeping and data entry
* Exposure to complex client groups, including SMSFs (outsourced)
* Participating in technical discussions and problem-solving alongside Partners
About You
* Eager to learn and develop accounting expertise
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong problem-solving ability and a client-focused approach
* CA or CPA qualified (or studying)
* Comfortable using MYOB and Xero (transitioning to Xero soon)
* Collaborative, organised, and willing to take ownership of tasks
