About the Role
As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the safe, reliable, and optimised performance of our LNG facility. You’ll work across a diverse range of engineering disciplines and operational teams, identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the long‑term success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Demonstrate leadership by influencing technical direction and acting as a trusted advisor, with the potential to evolve into a technical authority role.
* Provide expert process engineering support across LNG, Combined Cycle Power Plant, and Utilities systems.
* Lead the development of process documentation, simulations, and technical studies.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including operations, maintenance, HSE, and commercial.
* Participate in risk assessments, HAZOPs, and technical reviews.
* Monitor operating integrity envelopes and respond to emergent threats to production and reliability.
* Ensure compliance with national and international standards, safety cases, and performance standards.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to recruitment efforts.
* Provide after‑hours, weekend, and on‑call support as required to ensure safe and continuous LNG plant operation.
What We're Looking For
* A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
* Strong technical knowledge in process engineering, ideally within LNG or downstream operations.
* Familiarity with process safety, equipment reliability, and technical systems (e.g., HYSYS, OLGA, SCADA).
* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing engineering change.
* Excellent communication, planning, and time‑management skills.
* A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Current Australian driver’s licence and access to transport to Bladin Point.
This role is for applicants residing in or willing to relocate to Darwin.
