Project Manager Role
The Australian and Queensland governments have jointly committed to a significant investment in the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program, marking the largest single investment in the highway to date.
This initiative aims to reduce crash severity and frequency, particularly between Gympie and Cairns, through measures such as centre line treatments, intersection upgrades, rest areas, pavement strengthening, overtaking lanes, and upgrades to narrow structures.
Key aspects of this role include:
* Managing the planning and delivery of key components of the Queensland Transport and Road Investment Program.
* Providing specialist technical expertise and advice to support responsible decision-making.
* Coordinating and leading the delivery of QTRIP projects.
* Developing project management plans and reporting on progress.
* Evaluating the effectiveness of projects and determining improvements.
You will work collaboratively with other project owners and managers to deliver complex cross-boundary projects. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
