Overview of the role
This is a unique permanent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our large Analysis team. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a role within our Consumer Tribe where your experience in UX and expertise in stakeholder coordination and management would shine.
The Chapter consists of around 300 like-minded analysts where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) and you will be supported in your career development within our fantastic culture.
What you'll do
* Work within a squad as part of the broader Consumer Tribe
* Build strong relationships through engagement with colleagues and stakeholders across Business and Technology
* Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement
* Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely and coherently
* Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs
* Raise and support mitigation and resolution of risks and issues using established tools and frameworks where applicable
* Create detailed user stories (in JIRA) to support delivery
* Work closely with squad/project members including Project Manager, Scrum Master, Architects, Developers, Tech Leads, and Test Analysts to identify capture plan and deliver changes
What you'll bring
* Recent experience with UX and AI
* Web/mobile app experience (desired)
* Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience in a project/delivery oriented role from a large organisation
* Minimum 5 years Agile, Lean and Waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops and Agile ceremonies facilitation
* Ability to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements
* Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills with experience dealing with various stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
* Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference
