Our client is a strong world-leading manufacturer providing products and services to the mining, industrial, construction and consumer markets. Due to growth, we are searching for a Machinist, Line Borer or Welder to join their team in Muswellbrook.
The role:
* Operation of Vertical Borer
* Preparation and painting of products
* Examine detailed and interpret drawing and specifications to find out job, material, and equipment requirements.
* MMA, MIG and Sub Arc Welding of cylindrical sections to standards.
* Proficient at Oxy Acetylene Cutting and Gouging
* Cut, roll, shape, bend, mold, spin, heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies
* Set up and/or operate hand, machine tools and welding equipment.
* Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding.
* Drilling - Tapping
* Completing documentation for completed works
What we're looking for:
* Qualification in either Machining, Welding or Line Boring
* Previous Submerged arc welding highly desirable
* Previously used a Vertical Borer (i.e. a Machinist)
* Competent in the use Overhead travelling cranes.
* Current Forklift Ticket
* Current valid car driver's licence
* Safety Focused
* Highly motivated with good time management skills
* Respect for customers and their property
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Strength and physical stamina
* Problem-solving skills
* People who take pride in their work, and focus on quality of workmanship
* The ability to foster relationships in a team

* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
Benefits:
* $50 per hour + super + paid overtime
* 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday or option to work 6am to 2.30pm on Friday's
