About the Role
NAX Capital is seeking a highly motivated and technically capable Fractional Junior IT and Security Support professional. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-pacedenvironment, understands modern cloud ecosystems, and is eager to grow within the IT and cybersecurity domain. You will work closely with the company's active CISO and support daily operational needs across infrastructure, security, SaaS systems, and user support.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day IT support for internal teams across systems, devices, and cloud services
* Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant, including user administration, security policies, and compliance settings
* Support SharePoint, Exchange Online, Teams, and related Microsoft cloud services
* Assist with AWS account administration, IAM hygiene, and basic cloud resource oversight
* Monitor and respond to alerts from EDR and XDR security tools
* Manage Password Safe or similar privileged access management solutions
* Support CRM operations with preference for GHL
* Handle ticketing workflows with preference for FreshDesk
* Maintain and troubleshoot SaaS applications used across the company
* Provide remote support using industry standard remote access tools
* Support Slack workspace configuration and user management
* Assist with Office Apps troubleshooting and deployment
* Manage hosting services with preference for GoDaddy
* Support onboarding and offboarding processes including identity, access, and device setup
* Document procedures, configurations, and knowledge base articles
* Collaborate with the CISO on security improvements, audits, and incident response tasks
* Maintain strong operational hygiene and follow best practices for IT and security
Required Experience
* Proven experience managing Microsoft 365 tenant and administration tools
* Hands on experience with SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Teams
* Familiarity with AWS administration and cloud security fundamentals
* Experience with EDR or XDR platforms
* Experience with Password Safe or similar credential vaulting tools
* Experience with CRM systems with GHL considered an advantage
* Experience with ticketing platforms with FreshDesk considered an advantage
* Strong understanding of SaaS ecosystems and integrations
* Experience with remote support tools
* Experience with Slack administration
* Proficiency with Office Apps
* Experience with hosting services with GoDaddy considered an advantage
Preferred Skills
* Understanding of identity and access management principles
* Basic networking knowledge, including DNS, VPN, and firewalls
* Familiarity with security frameworks such as CIS or NIST
* Experience with device management tools such as Intune
* Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to work independently
* Excellent communication skills and ability to support non-technical users
* Strong documentation habits and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
