Head Chef | Burleigh Heads Hotel
We're searching for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the Burleigh Heads Hotel – the beating heart of our local community and the place where pub classics meet plates locals can't get enough of. The Pub is undergoing significant renovation and refurbishment, and the surrounding area is being upgraded with new tram connections, park and promenade improvements, and seawall rebuilds. The hotel boasts a fantastic location right across the road from the beach.
About The Role
As Head Chef, you will command the kitchen, ensuring operations run smoothly, safely, and profitably. You will work closely with the Publican and FOH team, share your passion and skills to grow a high‐performing kitchen team, and maintain a strong connection between kitchen and front of house.

Burleigh Heads Hotel is situated on The Esplanade, just across the road from the iconic Burleigh Heads Beach. The hotel features two bars, a restaurant, and a premium gaming room.

Inherent Requirements
* This is a hands‐on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g., moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must be able to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

* You have trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications sorted.
