Engine Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our service segment. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to diagnose and complete less complex repairs on engines at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and complete repairs on engines at customer sites.
* Engage customers in a professional manner, ensuring prompt and efficient attention to their needs.
* Use specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete repairs.
* Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards.
* Evaluate issues and escalate unresolved problems to more experienced technicians or supervisors.
Requirements:
* Australian recognized trade certificate (heavy or light vehicle).
* Apprentice-trained engine technician experience (preferred).
* Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
* Solid diagnostic capabilities with the help of computer systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Cummins engine experience.
* Mining industry experience.
* Positive attitude and good work ethic.
* Competence with Insite and computer applications.
Working Conditions:
The selected candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team environment. The role involves regular travel to customer sites and working in various weather conditions.
