About the Position
CSF Steel, a division of CSF Industries, is seeking experienced Leading Hand Boilermakers to support our Fabrication team in the Cairns Workshop and play a key role in driving productivity, quality, and safety across our structural steel operations.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for structural steel fabrication and welding, while assisting the Foremen with quality control as required. You will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification, while fostering a productive and positive team environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified Boilermaker with proven fabrication capability who enjoys mentoring apprentices and leading by example, while remaining actively involved on the tools.
Full-time and casual positions are available.

What you will bring to us
Essential Requirements:
* Trade Qualified Boilermaker (Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade)
* Proven experience fabricating and welding structural steel for building construction
* Willingness to mentor apprentices
* Current "C" Class Driver Licence
* Strong job planning and organisational skills
* Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
* A flexible, team-focused attitude
* Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
Desirable Requirements:
* Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Current Forklift Licence
