An established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join the business during a period of change and transition. Operating within a global group, this role offers the opportunity to step into a senior, hands‐on HR leadership position with genuine impact, shaping people practices locally while partnering closely with international stakeholders.
About the Role
As the HR Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all HR functions across a workforce of approximately 160 to 170 employees, spanning both blue‐and‐white‐collar roles. You'll work closely with senior leadership locally and globally, supporting initiatives in employee relations, remuneration, and organisational development. This role has one Direct Report who will support across HR Generalist activity. You will play a pivotal role within the organisation and will be responsible for:
* Provide comprehensive, professional HR advice across the entire employee lifecycle.
* Undertake & manage workplace investigations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) matters.
* Develop, review, and maintain people policies, procedures, and practices to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Australia.
* Own and manage Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) negotiations (upcoming within the next 12 months).
* Provide trusted HR advice and coaching to leaders across the business.
* Support the organisation through change and business transformation.
* Oversight of performance management frameworks, remuneration and review cycles.
* Manage recruitment for senior and manager‐level roles.
* Support the review and future design of HR systems and processes.
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring:
* Strong Influencing and Stakeholder Management Skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
* Experience working within a mixed blue/white collar workforce is essential.
* Strong ER/IR experience.
* Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field is essential.
* Comfortable working in a global environment.
* A pragmatic, steady approach - comfortable operating in evolving environments.
