About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced personal care assistants to work on one of our 24/7 programs in Ballarat, specifically focusing on providing care for individuals with high complex care needs and challenging behaviours. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who require specialised care and support around the clock.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to our client's home to assist with all aspects of care to ensure that their daily needs are met.
• Providing person‐centred care with a focus on dignity, safety, and well‐being.
• Maintaining explicit communication channels and promptly reporting any changes in client's health status.
• Adapting care plans to address the unique requirements of each client.

About You

• Previous or lived experience working with individuals with ABI's and/or complex care needs – preferably in a 24/7 care setting.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent qualification.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance or willingness to undertake one.
• Valid Australian Driver's License.
• Reliable and comprehensive insured vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanour.
