About the Role
If you're an experienced Dentist seeking meaningful work without the pressures of private practice targets, this is your opportunity to join a highly respected not‐for‐profit community health organisation where your skills create real impact, and your wellbeing truly matters. We are seeking an Experienced Dentist (Level 2–3) to join our Ashburton Dental Team in a part-time 0.6 EFT Max‐Term role covering Parental Leave.
Contract: 30th June 2026 until 30th June 2027.
Responsibilities
* Deliver dental care in line with AccessHC and Oral Health Victoria (OHV) policies and guidelines
* Provide high‐quality, patient‐centred care within public dental service scope
* Collaborate with dentists, oral health therapists, and dental prosthetists
* Refer complex cases appropriately and support less experienced clinicians
* Maintain compliance with OH&S, infection control, and record‐keeping standards
Qualifications
* Current AHPRA registration as a Dentist
* Minimum 3 years' experience with at least 6 months within Australia
* Current Radiation Licence
Required Skills
* High level of clinical competence and broad relevant experience in all aspects of dentistry
* Excellent interpersonal & communication and time management skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Skills
* Experience in community dental and/or private practice
* Familiarity with electronic patient management system Titanium/Exact
* Previous experience in community dental/private practice
* Experience in oral health promotion and outreach activities
Pay range and compensation package
As a Not‐for‐Profit organisation, you can access generous salary packaging (up to $15,990 + $2,650 meals/entertainment), increasing your net income beyond many private roles.
