About the role
Our client is seeking a contractor to join their Townsville team as a Building & Pest Inspector.
You'll primarily conduct pre-purchase inspections, identifying defects, assessing compliance, and preparing clear reports that ensure safe and compliant property transactions.

Duties
Identify structural defects, compliance issues & safety risks
Carry out pre-purchase inspections (majority of workload)
Produce clear and actionable inspection reports
Inspect subfloors, roof cavities & external roofing areas
Liaise with clients and provide professional advice
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience in building and/or pest inspections
QLD Builder's Licence + Master Builders Registered Building Inspectors Course (or eligibility)
Certified in Timber Pest Management (CPPUPM**** & CPPUPM****) — or willingness to enrol
Strong attention to detail & professional reporting skills
Police clearance, valid driver's licence & reliable vehicle
