You'll have 5 years in aged care and 2 years in management Work 9 days a fortnight & have 5 weeks leave and salary packaging Flexible leadership across residential sites Your next employer You'll join a small, community-focused not-for-profit residential aged care and retirement living provider dedicated to quality services, people development, and financial sustainability. They believe staff are their greatest asset, offering onsite support from Clinical Care Manager, Administration, Quality & Governance, and Staff Development Nurse to create an engaged workplace. The opportunity Act as full Relief Service Manager during SM leave, rostered days off, or short-term vacancies—ensuring seamless operations, decision-making, and care continuity across sites. Provide hands-on support to Service Managers outside relief periods, easing operational pressures, workforce challenges, and compliance activities. Step in wherever leadership or assistance is needed, supporting sites with day-to-day management and priorities. Assist the Chief Operating Officer with operational coordination, site communication, and key follow-ups. Champion Aged Care Quality Standards compliance, policy adherence, high-risk incident, complaint management, and corrective action plans during relief Support SMs with workforce planning, recruitment, roster oversight, budgets and resources, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives. About you Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse You’ll bring at least five years in residential aged care (minimum two years managerial) and two years in management positions. You've got a strong grasp of Aged Care Quality Standards and know how to keep things compliant while maintaining smooth operations. You've led teams before and feel comfortable stepping into a full Service Manager role when needed, managing everything from rosters to budgets while keeping residents and staff supported. Postgrad qualifications in aged care management would be a bonus, along with a genuine passion for continuous improvement and helping sites run better.
