The Australian Sports Commission is embarking on the Green and Gold decade, an exciting time that will feature international sporting competitions on home soil, including the Men's and Women's Rugby World Cup and culminating with the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We have a new Strategic Vision and need the best players on our team to help us deliver real results for the sporting sector and all Australians.
Successful applicants must have or be willing to obtain an industry swim teaching qualification through Royal Life Saving, AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia and must hold a current CPR qualification and a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card.
Responsibilities
* Teach swim classes to beginner, intermediate, and advanced swimmers.
* Deliver the Term Swimming program during the required times – at least two days a week from 3:15 pm to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday or 9:15 am to 12:30 pm Saturday to Sunday.
* Assist with non‐competitive squad training and specialised workshops.
* Ensure safety and compliance with all child protection policies.

Eligibility and Compliance
* It is preferred that applicants are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
* The position requires a Working with Vulnerable/Children People check.
