Practice Manager - Leadership Opportunity

As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a healthcare facility. Your duties will include overseeing daily operations, leading and supporting a team of healthcare and administrative staff, establishing and maintaining quality management systems, and managing recall and reminder systems.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing a general practice or similar healthcare setting, strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a patient-centered approach. They will also possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement, knowledge of healthcare regulations, Medicare, billing processes, and accreditation standards, and intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and email).

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the practice, including strategic planning, personnel management, financial management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily operations, including patient flow, appointment scheduling, and resource management;
* Lead and support a team of healthcare and administrative staff, promoting a positive and cohesive work culture;
* Establish and maintain quality management systems;
* Manage recall and reminder systems;
* Establish and review the rostering of non-clinical staff;
* Participate in the performance appraisal process and provide constructive feedback and support to staff;
* Adhere to determined budgets;
* Attend monthly Practice Manager meetings;
* General accounts duties such as reconciliations, billings, banking, and supplies management.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

* Proven experience in managing a general practice or similar healthcare setting;
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a patient-centered approach;
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement;
* Knowledge of healthcare regulations, Medicare, billing processes, and accreditation standards;
* Experience with Best Practice software (desired);
* Experience with Pracsuite software (desired);
* Intermediate level of skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and email).
