Your next career opportunity As a Research Development Officer in the Faculty of Arts, you'll have the exciting opportunity to support the cutting-edge research of the Initiative for Peacebuilding and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Futures. You'll work closely with senior academics and stakeholders, developing a broad understanding of the Faculty's research portfolio while honing your skills in research management, finance, and communication. This role offers you the chance to contribute to impactful research addressing critical societal challenges. Your responsibilities will include: Implement communications and events: create content across various media and organise impactful research events. Oversee research initiative finances: develop and monitor budgets, interpret financial reports, identify financial risks and advise initiative leads Ensure governance compliance: coordinate reporting, reviews, and provide executive support to advisory boards and committees. Coordinate academic visitor processes: manage applications, visas, travel, and policy compliance for visiting researchers. You may be a great fit if: You are a highly organized professional with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic research environment. You may also: Have a relevant tertiary qualification with professional experience in a research-related field. Be capable of building productive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate professional judgement, problem-solving abilities and adaptability in ambiguous situations. Have knowledge of Indigenous research environments and cultural protocols.
