**Job Description**:
Reporting into the Showroom Manager, the Product Expert is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales and margin targets through providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating in depth product knowledge to clients. They are also responsible for ensuring the necessary administration for all sales orders is completed.
**Position Responsibilities**
Sales:
- Meet all sales and margin targets and KPI's set by the business
- Show exceptional product knowledge expertise and stay up to date through ongoing training
- Demonstrate products to clients
- Prepare and follow up on quotes
- Upsell Customer Care Plans and Installations
- Liaise with suppliers and other 3rd parties (interior designers, architects etc.) as necessary
Presentation:
- Ensure outstanding personal presentation and wear the company uniform at all times
- Maintain showroom presentation standards
- Other ad hoc duties that may include occasional cleaning, showroom greeting and security
- Attendance at industry events
Administration:
- Direct client complaints to appropriate area of the business
- Send service requests to the Service team
- Book installations with Winning Services
- Liaise with the Distribution Centers (DCs) re stock availability
- Liaise with Buying & Merchandise team to request stock purchases
- Release orders to clients
- Organise payment from clients
- Produce product specifications for clients for products ordered
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in a customer service or sales environment
- Outstanding communication skills
- High level computer literacy, with experience using Google Workspace (formerly G-Suite) beneficial
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Great team player with a collaborative approach
- A strong interest and/or knowledge of kitchen and laundry products
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Professional presentation and grooming
- Ability to work weekends
